We hope you were able to take a breath over the last weekend and enjoy some family time. We send best wishes to our families who are and have been isolating or are unwell. It is during these times that you find random acts of kindness in our community. Thank you to all those people who have quietly supported those in need, whether it is through meals, supporting children or a phone call. I am often asked, ‘Why St Roch’s?’ I often reply - ‘The Community!!”

This fortnight we have been greatful to have two school closure days where our staff engaged in professional learning expereinces that directly impacts on our commitment to our students. Our involvement in Positive Behaviour for Learning has enabled us to reflect on the wonderful work here and also on what we can do to enhance what is already at St Roch’s. Certainly, the last two years have taught us to adapt to the changing environment. We look forward to launching our work around our vision: ‘Every Child, Everybody, Every Day’.

We celebrated St Patrick's Day on the 17th of March and the Year 1 and 2 students were fortunate enough to learn about the significance of this day from one of our Year 3 students James. Many students added a touch of green to their school uniforms in recognition of this special day in our Catholic faith.
