Dear Families,

Welcome back to Term 2. We hope you all had a very happy Easter and continued your celebrations into the school holiday period, enjoying time with your family and friends. We have had a lovely beginning to the term and I am forever grateful to our community this week. A very big thank you to you all for making me feel special this week as I celebrated my birthday. The week for me began with a morning tea on Monday thanks to the wonderful staff here at St Roch’s, it was a lovely opportunity to gather as a staff and enjoy each other's company. The celebrations continued and many of you could see the surprise on my face Thursday afternoon with our special ‘secret’ assembly run by the amazing Year 6 leaders. Seeing our community gather and watching our Prep, Year 5 and 6 students sing, perform and many students sharing some lovely words for my birthday will forever be a treasured memory. Thank you to all who attended these

celebrations this week, your well wishes and generosity is deeply appreciated. A special thanks to Nadine and the team of staff and students who made this ever so special!!
